Biography

Katerina Spirtus was born in Crimea in 1983. She graduated from the Crimean Art School of N.S. Samokish in 2002. She continued her studies at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kiev, where she graduated in 2009. Since 2008 she has featured in many solo and group exhibitions in Ukraine as well overseas.

Story of her life path can be summarized with a short phrase of the writer David Weiss: We become an artist not because we like it so much but because we don't have any other way.
