Biography

Alexander was born in 1986 in Melitopol, Ukraine. In 2002 he entered the Crimean Art College (easel painting). From 2006 to 2012 he was a student of the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts (monumental painting).

Tyunkin's art is focused on nature: he follows its beauty, showing it has never been diminished, but is only prone to changes that are brought by the different weather conditions. He shows the magical sky and the fierce sea as well as their manifestations: it can be dark and gloomy, indicating a stormy weather, or a source of warmth and the peace.

Since 2012 Alexander is a Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and from 2015 Member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
