N2N Gallery is delighted to announce our new exhibition, ‘The Flavor of the South’, comprising the latest works of the renowned Crimean artist Alexander Tyunkin.

Alexander Tyunkin was born in 1986 in Melitopol, Ukraine. In 2002 he ent red the Crimean Art College.2006 - 2012 he was a student of the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts. Since 2012 Alexander has been a Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and, from 2015 Member of the Union of Artists of Russi . He has been exhibiting actively since 2007.

He is the winner of several awards, with over 100 exhibitions across the world, and his works are displayed in private collections in UAE,Switzerland, Russia, Ukraine, and elsewhere.

About the Exhibition:

Tyunkin’s art is set in the sheer essence of nature, reflecting its serenity and beauty, immortal yet transient. His inspiration continues to be his precious Crimea, wherein every nook and cranny beholds a nostalgic element for one, portrayed marvelously in his works.

As a dynamic and evolving maestro, the valorous strokes of his brush and his distinctive use of colours bring out the grandeur of his artistic vision, altogether creating a harmonious blend for our eyes to ponder on.

In this series, Tyunkin wishes to throw light on the alluring beauty’s coexistence which is constantly blindsided. Like a time capsule, the artist records the beautiful and encaptivating scenery of Crimea onto a canvas; in pursuit of its existence even when it ceases, But in that fleeting moment, nature seems to be frozen in a timeless melody. Every work beholds a scene to marvel at yet depicts the ordinariness of its presence. The tranquility felt by the artist at that moment is expressed with a mere stroke of a brush.
