Biography

Born in Yalta in 1979, Andrey graduated from the Crimean Art College in 2002. He holds the “Young Ukrainian artist award” nominee in 2011. Currently lives and works in Crimea. Not only is Andrey Orlov a master landscape painter, but also an adept portrait, still life, and abstract painter, too. His abilities were well-appreciated, which was represented through the many prestigious exhibitions where his works were displayed.

Out of all the contemporary Crimean painters, the name of Andrey Orlov will primarily come up when discussing a painting that can be characterized by its perception of the world through color. The array of his works balances between the daring confrontational energy of self-sufficient colors and the graceful combination of a rich palette of tints and shades.
